Who Should Attend

Addiction counselors, counselors and family therapists, social workers, supervisors, and other interested healthcare professionals

Description

This training is intended to support clinicians with the assessment and treatment of substance use disorders through a Medicaid lens. Through participation in this training, clinicians will understand how medical necessity is established during the initial assessment and threads throughout the treatment episode.

Credit

5 hours (CEUs provided for addictions counselors, social workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists.)

Cost

Free with advance registration for employees of county alcohol and drug abuse authorities in Region 4
$45 with advance registration for employees of county alcohol and drug abuse authorities outside Region 4
$75 for all others (Registrations must be postmarked by March 4, 2026.)
