This program trains families of people living with mental illness to be peer supporters who assist other families who have family members living with mental illness.

• Peer-to-peer support. A Family Peer Support Specialist brings personal experience navigating behavioral health systems as a family member or caregiver.

• Practical guidance. Get help understanding services, resources, options, and next steps.

• Family voice. Build confidence in communicating needs, participating in planning, and advocating for your loved one.

• Connection. Reduce isolation by connecting with someone who understands the caregiver experience.

• Strengths-focused support. Identify what is already working and build on your family's strengths, goals, and hopes.
